About the department
You have the opportunity to join an international, high performing team responsible for generating customer insights (from physicians and patients) and utilise the insights and knowledge to impact brand strategy and tactics development across Novo Nordisk. In close collaboration with key internal stakeholders in Global Marketing brand teams and affiliates, we execute market research projects, and conduct anonymised, patient level data analysis. We advocate a customer centric approach in strategy and tactics formulation, being an integrated partner for Global Marketing brand teams.

The position
You will support Global Customer Insights Managers in the Customer Insights team in day to day market research project management. In this role you will support project vendor selection, project planning, questionnaire review, logistic project management and final project reporting and summarisation. You will also be involved in tasks of analysing market dynamics and customer insights alongside Global Customer Insights Managers and Global Product Managers, providing input for brand strategy and tactical development.

  • Internship period: The student assistant position is time-limited to when your studies are finalised
  • Working hours: 20 hours/week
  • Start date: 15 November 2017
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required

Qualifications
We are looking for a Student Assistant who is passionate about market research and in generating novel insights, and is interested in applying them within the pharmaceutical industry. You are currently studying your Master’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Strategy or other relevant fields and have demonstrated strong project management and analytical skills throughout your study. Also, you need to have a bachelor finalised. General knowledge about market research and the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. We expect the candidate to be goal oriented, thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Fluency in both oral and written English and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required. You have a strong personal drive and dedication. You have the ability to digest comprehensive market and customer information and findings into concise insights and have the ability to communicate it to internal stakeholders. You must have a strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
